Micro-qualifications are designed to meet the rapidly changing needs of the labor market \u2013 to provide training programs that are high-quality, yet shorter, but still responsive to labor market demands.
As of 2025, the recognition and evaluation of micro-qualifications fall under the competence of the Estonian Agency for Quality in Education (HARNO)<\/a>. Puhastusekspert passed the quality assessment process and was issued a 5-year license to conduct micro-qualification training<\/strong> for the curriculum “Cleaning Service Provider-Supervisor Level 4 Professional Exam Preparation”<\/strong><\/a> <\/strong>under (code: 260884). This means we passed an evaluation process that reviewed both the curriculum and the competence of our trainers. We received accreditation for both the training delivery and the trainers. Micro-qualifications are registered in EHIS (Estonian Education Information System).

What advantage does a micro-qualification offer?<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
<\/path><\/svg>This is a nationally recognized curriculum, and the certificate issued upon its completion is more widely recognized compared to standard training courses. For instance, it can be credited as a free elective and\/or optional subject in formal education. <\/span><\/div>
<\/path><\/svg>The competence of the trainers and the training provider is nationally verified and accredited.<\/span><\/div>
<\/path><\/svg>If a private individual pays for the training, the individual may deduct the paid training cost from their taxable income pursuant to \u00a7 26 (21) of the Income Tax Act.<\/span><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
Micro-qualifications are still a relatively new form of education in Estonia, and currently, only a few training institutions offer them. The purpose of national quality assessment is to ensure that micro-qualifications meet the actual needs of the labor market and are comparable in content to modules of formal education. Precisely for this reason, micro-qualifications are seen as a future-oriented solution in lifelong learning \u2013 they enable adult learners to flexibly and purposefully enhance their knowledge without having to complete a lengthy study program. For employers, this means a better overview of employees’ skills and confidence that the training meets national quality requirements.
