CleanMind Initiative
The international project “CleanMind Initiative” will take place from 2025 to 2027. Three countries are participating in the project – Estonia, Finland, and Sweden. The aim of the project is to develop and test performance-based cleaning that is grounded in actual needs, scientific research, and environmentally sustainable principles.
As part of the project, various learning materials will be created to provide guidance for cleaning service providers, trainers, and service purchasers. These materials will focus on implementing effective cleaning methods, using resources efficiently, and applying ESG principles in everyday work.

CleanSkill: Bridging the Estonian-Latvian Competency Divide
The international project “CleanSkill: Bridging the Estonian–Latvian Competency Divide” (2024–2026) brings Estonia and Latvia together to reduce the skills and vocational education gap in the cleaning sector. As part of the project, vocational training programmes (EQF level 4) are introduced in Latvia; in addition, vocational examinations are organised and learning materials and training videos are developed, focusing on efficient cleaning methods, the development of digital skills, environmental sustainability, and the application of ESG principles in everyday work.

Mobility Accreditation: Consortium in the Field of Vocational Education
Puhastusekspert has been awarded an Erasmus mobility accreditation as a consortium in the field of vocational education, enabling the implementation of mobility projects for consortium members during the years 2023–2027.

Cleaning Ergonomics – to Prevent Occupational Diseases and Accidents
The international project “Cleaning Ergonomics – to Prevent Occupational Diseases and Accidents” began in the autumn of 2021 and ran for three years. Four countries participated in the project — Estonia, Hungary, the Netherlands, and Finland. Through this project, we aimed to raise awareness of the most common causes of occupational accidents and diseases in the cleaning sector. Our goal was to make the industry more conscious of existing hazards and risks.
The project seeked to provide practical solutions for preventing and avoiding the 20 most common factors causing occupational diseases and work-related accidents, presented through simple educational films. To ensure the effectiveness of the training, we offered a training programme and a brief methodological description for the prevention of the 20 most significant issues.

Safe and Effective Cleaning in a Pandemic Situation
The international project “Safe and Effective Cleaning in a Pandemic Situation” began in the autumn of 2021 and ran for three years. The idea for the project arose when Puhastusekspert OÜ was involved in developing cleaning guidelines in Estonia in cooperation with the Health Board. There is great potential in teaching, developing, and raising awareness about cleaning to ensure people’s health and to make cleaning efforts more effective. However, achieving this is beyond the capacity of a single organisation and requires collaboration partners.
We therefore sought international partners who share an active interest in making the world a better place through advancements in this field.

Cost Effective, Need Based Cleaning – INSTA800
The international project “Cost Effective, Need Based Cleaning INSTA800” began in 2019 and concluded in October 2022. Despite the challenges and restrictions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, we can confidently say that the project was highly successful for both Puhastusekspert OÜ and all its partners.
Together, we were able to create and discover new knowledge and methods, adding value to the INSTA 800 standard for its users.

Advancing Hygiene and Cleaning Training for HORECA SMEs
The project “Advancing Hygiene and Cleaning Training for HORECA SMEs” involved six European countries — Estonia, Ireland, England, Greece, Spain, and Romania. The project received co-funding from the European Union’s Erasmus+ programme. The project ran for two years, and in September 2021, we invited everyone to an event where we presented the project’s results.
