How much Time is Spent, on Average, Cleaning a Home?
Time is an irreplaceable resource. In everyday life, we constantly hear people complaining about a lack of time and an overly fast pace of life. There are 24 hours in a day. The value of this time and how enjoyably we spend it depends on each individual’s decision.

A clean home, work, or study environment is of significant importance, as it affects our health, work capacity, and well-being. Consequently, we have investigated how much time is spent cleaning an average home per week. Based on various data, we have found the answer to be 4 hours per week.
Individuals who have attended our cleaning training courses to develop their awareness have provided feedback on the changes they experienced after implementing what they learned. The most significant change is the time saved, as according to feedback, with a conscious approach, a home can be cleaned in 2.5 hours instead of 4 hours. This means 78 hours are saved annually. If this is equated to working, it’s like gaining 10 days of extra vacation per year. In addition to the saved hours, the cleaning process becomes significantly more enjoyable and simpler. The selection of substances and tools is deliberate, and dirt can be noticed and removed much more efficiently.
According to Statistics Estonia, there were 632,400 households in Estonia as of 2022. If 1.5 hours were saved per week from cleaning each home, a total of 5,639 years of time would be saved collectively. If you wish to gain an additional 78 valuable hours per year in your household for enjoyable activities, we can help you.
